Gynecology Oncology Nurse Practitioner Full-time w/ Benefits 36 hr/wk, Mon/Thurs/Fri, 12 hr shifts Job Details: Masters Degree in Nursing Required In collaboration with the health care team, the Midlevel Practitioner-Obstetrics (MP-O) provides continuity of care to antenatal patients in the triage unit through comprehensive assessment, intervention, evaluation, and subsequent discharge to home or admission to Labor and Birth unit. Graduate of Master's program as Nurse Practitioner (Adult/Family or Women's Health) or Nurse Midwifery program. Licensed as APRN/CNM in State of Connecticut or eligible for Licensing. 2-3 years experience in Women's Health, OB/GYN/ High Risk Obstetrics as an APRN/CNM. Excellent basic medical knowledge with clinical skills and judgment. Possess analytical skills to evaluate care needs, ability to gather relevant clinical data, perform thorough physical examinations, and possess excellent interpersonal skills, communication, and leadership abilities and exhibit good judgment and tact dealing with patients, families, and allied health professionals. Off-shift as needed; no holidays required; schedule as per need of unit.
