Requirements for this job: Masters degree in Nursing preferred Current license within the state of practice Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners, including preceptorship Current Nurse Practitioner certification (in family, adult or geriatric nursing) Three years clinical experience CPR certification Effective interpersonal skills in order to communicate with other members of the health care team, patients and their families Ability to carry and lift up to 20 pounds, push/pull up to 30 pounds, transfer and position patients in different environments, and ability to climb stairs Able to take and interpret vital signs, respond appropriately during emergency situations and excellent communication skills Medical Connections, a national leader in healthcare/medical recruitment and staffing, has a vast inventory of opportunities available nationwide including temporary, permanent, temp-to-perm and travel positions.
