Director of Nursing Home Health Services Sign on Bonus and Relocation Assistance Available! Provider of pharmacy benefit management, mail service pharmacy, home care, long term care pharmacy services looking for a Director of Nursing to manage the nursing operations within the organization. Responsibilities: Management and coordination of nursing within the organization Ensure nursing care is in accordance with the company standards and policies, and state, federal and regulatory agency guidelines Assist in planning of activities, budget, organize, administer and supervise health service within the organization Ensure quality management program for patient care is maintained Assist the General Manager in meeting operational and financial goals Supervise and evaluate personnel providing direct patient care Hire, train, counsel, advise and evaluate performances, and when necessary, discipline/discharge personnel Direct the coordination of patient care Implement and maintain systems for review of productivity and cost-effectiveness Assist with the establishment of on going quality improvement and PI programs Assess patient's suitability for home care Healthcare positions in New York - The best of both worlds For some, establishing a life in New York City is the ultimate goal.
