Job Description

Director of Nursing Floating Skilled Nursing Setting Sign on Bonus and Relocation Assistance Available! Responsibilities: Position requires frequent travel. Will report to the Vice President of Clinical Services and works closely with the Regional Nurse Consultants and RDO. Responsible for managing the facility nursing program in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, applicable State and Federal regulations, and policies and procedures. Participates in developing, implementing and evaluating programs that promote the recruitment, retention, development and continuing education of nursing staff members. Develops the department budget for approval, monitors expenses and stays within budget. Investigate and assist in the resolution residents/family/employee concerns. Ensures that annual competency evaluations and performance reviews are completed in the appropriate time frame. Plans and guides the professional development of nursing staff.
