Job Description

RN Med Surg Nursing Opportunity!

7am-7pm (3X12's) Candidate Must Be Flexible

Facility delivers care to more than 200,000 patients of all ages each year, including routine examinations and sophisticated diagnostic, treatment and surgical procedures.
As faculty members of the local University, our physicians teach medical students, and supervise resident physicians and fellows, who are licensed physicians obtaining additional knowledge and skills in a specialty field.

The academic environment is an ongoing stimulus that keeps our physicians and their programs and services on the cutting edge of medical technology.

>Level one 64-bed Psych hospital
>36-bed unit with growth potential
>Charge experience preferred
>Tele background mandatory - ACLS a plus
>Psych experience not mandatory

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
RN State Lic. ACLS

All personnel with direct patient care are required to attend NCI (Non-violent Crisis Intervention) and Restraint/Seclusion classes. Hospital pays for all in-services. Classes are held every two weeks starting 1/30/06.
Other classes that are required:
Patient Care Services, Order Communications, Department Specific Skills Class, and Accuhek. All staff are required to update their CPR Skills annually. This is a Behavioral Health Regulation. The hospital provides the 10 minute Update class.
