Job Description

Psych RN Registered Nurse Second Shift Salary starting at $54,000 The RN (Care Manager) normally: - Coordinates behavioral health and medical services (including intakes) for an assigned group of clients in compliance with established policies, procedures and standards of care. - Plans, organizes, and directs care for a group of assigned clients. - Coordinates daily care assignments for an assigned group of clients. - Coordinates the safe and accurate administration of medication. - Participates in orienting new unit staff, interns and students as directed by unit or shift manager. - Provides leadership of an assigned unit and collaborates with the Manager or In House Supervisor. This work is carried out with a team of professional staff which includes Psychiatrists, other RNs, LPNs, Psychiatric Assistants (usually BA trained in a mental health field), and Therapeutic Activities Therapists.
